RT Custom (RTC)
|
Sometimes there is just no good fit with any product available on the market. Often your requirements are very specific and require custom development from the ground up. RTC stands for RunTime Custom – our development program specifically designed to meet our customers’ needs when custom development is the best option. |
| We prefer to think of our customers as partners. We spend a lot of time absorbing how your organization needs to work in order to meet your expectations– before working on the development plan and functional specification. We strongly believe that our partner’s success is our success. |
| During the discovery stage, we start very light. It does not make sense to spend months developing extremely detailed specifications, because they are going to change over time. We would be kidding ourselves by saying we could create a specification and not have to make any changes to it throughout the project development process. However, it is critical to create a solid set of requirements and fairly detailed vision and overview of the project. We do third-party research with the users, stakeholders and customers. We talk to them to make sure we know what is important and what the expectations are. The end result is a discovery document laying out all of the information. |
| The world is highly dynamic, and business requirements change all the time. As development progresses, we- with the help of our partners- discover more about the project and are able to focus it better in order to deliver more relevant results. To accommodate changing requirements, we deliver vertical slices of functionality (finished pieces of application that can be used) as early as possible to solicit actual users feedback. This way we can focus on the truly important features, leaving low priority features for the end. |
| Depending on the requirements we can co-develop and train our partner?s staff, do the development internally, hire consultants or work with our development outsourcing partners. Such flexibility allows us to manage costs while satisfying specific requirements. |
|
The most exciting part of the project is when the functionality is complete and the project goes live. Most companies consider their work done by then. We continue to support our partners by making sure everything works, fix any issues if they are discovered and help draw plans for the future releases. |
